Working
with AB

At AB we pride ourselves on playing well with others. While we have employees like any other business, our network of collaborators extends much further. We are fairly flexible in how we work with people as, fundamentally, if you are the type of person or firm we want to work with, then we want to find a way to make that possible. In our view, while traditional employment structures can work well for some, they certainly don’t suit everyone, and shouldn’t represent the only path available.

As a starting point, our default model is to employ more junior practitioners, and work with more senior lawyers through our equity model. We have designed our unique collaboration model to allow us to work with anyone who is a good fit with our culture - incorporating enough flexibility to suit a range of different styles and objectives.

How to work with us

Build Your Business Within AB

By now, many of us have decided that traditional law firm life is not for us. However, working alone or in small practice has its own challenges - most of which are related to a simple lack of scale. At AB we’ve figured out how you can have the best of both worlds.

Referrals -

We’ve found that lawyers can be remarkably uncommercial about referrals. At AB, we recognise that sales and business development are important parts of legal practice, and we are happy to allocate value to both incoming and outgoing referrals.
